Welcome to Song of My Heart Stampers' new blog series, 31 Pages In 31
Days! Every day during the month of August, I'll be posting a single or
double page scrapbook layout for your inspiration.
I am running a
Scrapbooking Summer School on four consecutive Thursday nights in
August, and I've issued them a challenge–complete thirty-one pages in
just thirty-one days, and they'll receive a bonus pack of Designer
Series Papers at the end of the month! YOU CAN PLAY ALONG with us by challenging yourself to complete
thirty-one pages, too, and posting your progress here on Song of My
Heart Stampers.
There's even a 31 Pages in 31 Days Facebook group, where you can even post pictures of your pages to inspire and encourage others who are taking the challenge, too!
I sure wish these colors photographed better, because today's page has a really cool color scheme of Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, and Crisp Cantaloupe. I know, I know–it sounds weird–but try them together! And if you don't like the Cantaloupe with it, Blushing Bride looks gorgeous as well.
This page was actually done as part of the homework challenge for last week's Scrapbooking Summer School class. Each attendee got to select 3-4 old sample cardfronts from my basket, and were challenged to turn one or more of them into a scrapbook page. They could use the whole card or only some elements off it. I can't wait to see what they came up with! It's a fantastic way to upcycle cards you have received and can't bear to throw away. Give them new life as a scrapbook page that will be enjoyed for years and years to come.
I recycled this gorgeous flower off an old sample cardfront and made my page from there. I had one of these Designer Build A Brads leftover from last season's holiday catalog, so that was the perfect center for it. The stamps came from Hello Lovely and the Flourish Frames are from the Clearance Rack.
Thanks so much for your kind comments. I am enjoying myself immensely and hope you are, too! Pop back in tomorrow for more 31 Pages in 31 Days mojo-motivation!
Interesting color combo! I’m enjoying the challenge and finished pages 11 & 12 last night. Can’t wait for my next box!
Love it!!!
I’m looking forward to trying to make some scrapbook pages from the cardfronts that I chose at class the other night. It’s fun to take someone else’s idea and see if you can change it up to make something totally new. I have three card fronts so I am hoping to make 6 scrapbook pages based on those three card fronts. It was fun last year snd it should be fun this year also.
I really like these two pages perfect for my 2 little girls scrapping book
I love the colors for this page. Nice job! I could even do this one. lol
