31 Pages in 31 Days: beachcombing

You know the drill… it’s August, and that means we scrapbook! All month long, guilt-free, because immersion scrapbooking helps us get a ton done and not feel bad about the mess because it’s for a limited time. We’ll put it all away and get on with life soon enough, but for right now, this is OUR time to work on that satisfying stack of pages.

Today’s inspiration layout is all about the beach. Next to mudlarking, beachcombing is my favorite water activity!! I just love looking for whatever treasures the ocean or river has decided to offer up, whether it’s a little bit of clay tobacco pipe sticking out from the Thames mud or a bright blue piece of sea glass washed by the waves of the Great Lakes.

I tried to carry out that found treasures theme by having the photo mats “emerging’ from the sand and water and placing items at jaunty angles.
