Yay! Scrap A Stack Club tonight

Just love this club! Scrapbooking was my original papercrafting passion, but I've been very sidetracked with cards the past few years. I've been really enjoying getting back to regular scrapping once a month with this club. I guess I needed to schedule an official date on the calendar in order to make it happen! Don't you find that to be true? I just don't scrap by myself–not traditionally anyway–I do scrap digitally all the time. And yes, I know I need to share some digi-pages with you, pronto! Oh and there's new MDS news, too…. but that's another post!

The ladies asked me to do an Easter spread, and I knew right away this easy punch art bunny rabbit would come into play somewhere on it! I might add some whiskers on him, though. He is made with the Wide Oval punch, the Oval, the Small Oval, the 1.75 inch circle, and the circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. I wish it showed up better, but the EASTER headline has been sprayed with Shimmer Spray, and the letters (made on my Big Shot) look just like glitter chipboard. Love it!

Love the color combo here–Rose Red, Concord Crush, River Rock and Bashful Blue. They will have the opportunity to use star punches or Blossom Party die cut daisies for this page, depending on whether or not it is for a boy or girl birthday. I am just in love with the Notes & Details set from the Occasions Mini, for scrapbooking–used the big journalling lines stamp on this layout, plus another Occasions Mini stamp set, Bring on the Cake.

I like this single page best of all, I must admit! Something about the color combo of Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Pacific Point and all those fun circles just makes me smile. I also used a stamp from Bring on the Cake for this page, the one with all the numbers, where you just color in the appropriate ones for the birthday person. Cute! So there's an idea for you all out there who got the Ice Cream Parlor DSP pack with your Sale A Bration Rewards. Great papers in that pack!

If you're looking for a monthly club in Watertown, I have FIVE different options available. Email me for the list with project descriptions and scheduling details, if you don't have a copy of my most current snail-mail newsletter to refer to. We're about to head into summer–make sure you plan a little "me" time to preserve your sanity with the kids home all day every day!
