I am a sucker for a good nature stamp set. There's just so much you can do with a great tree stamp, you know? I tried to resist getting Winter Woods –and I almost made it! But it followed me home on my last order and now I'm really glad I sprang for it. It's sooo peaceful. I felt calm and collected even just playing with it.
And I loved painting on the Frost White Shimmer Paint to make the branches snowy. For once I got a closeup that actually shows the shine.
I got the stamp set only, not bundled with the dies, and after playing with it I think that was a good choice for me. The dies are gorgeous, but for the types of cards I use nature stamp sets for (guy cards, sympathy, Scripture notecards), they are not necessary. A girl's budget has to give somewhere, right?
I just have to "stuff" the cards for my demonstrator team and I'm DONE for the year! 340 total cards…not including what I send out in a regular month….I think this might be a monthly record for me??? I sure have enjoyed the beautiful cards I've received this year. Even a few "extra postage" beauties in the lot. Thanks for thinking of me, friends! I'll share photos so you can see them, too.
Lyssa, I started with dies & now I’m getting the stamps. This is such a beautiful set. Your card is just beautiful & peaceful. I looking forward to using it after Christmas.
Very pretty, peaceful card. TFS.
