Our monthly demo get-togethers are truly the highlight of my month. We have such awesomely fun ladies in the Song of My Heart Demonstrators group that I just LOVE our meetings! This month we were all sardienned into my little house, but this is definitely the last time we will be able to do that. Here's Cathy A (Lake Mills, WI) and Carrie D (Maple, WI) making one of the Make N Takes, provided by Diane V (Lowell, WI). Below is a closeup of the stunning card she brought for us.
Isn't that something? The cross is made from cutting off selected parts of the Square Lattice die for the Big Shot. I really appreciate Diane bringing a Make N Take for everyone to do. If you are a demo, you can see her work in the May 2011 Stampin' Success magazine that just came out yesterday–she was the winner of the Art Contest. She actually made me a set of the blocks and referenced me in the article as her inspiration–so sweet! Here's the set she made for me.
And a really pretty winter-themed set she also brought to show us at the last meeting, that I believe I forgot to blog about. Diane is an adopted demo–but she never comes to our group meetings empty-handed, and we're always thrilled to celebrate her successes and hear her news just like she was part of my downline. This time she brought along a cute little Easter basket made from the Petal Cone die, too!
And yes, I have told Diane she really needs to start her own blog! But she prefers not to. We'll see, I may get her worn down over the four days and nights that we are going to be convention buddies!
what beautiful projects and I especially love how you used the square lattice punch!
