I have been busy this week, mass-producing this cardfront as a swap sample for the WI Stampers Regional Conference this Saturday. In hindsight, I should have picked a design that required less stamping! My poor arm!
I have been dreaming of my upcoming cruise–less than a month away!!– and the color scheme was inspired by that. I started with Tempting Turquoise embossing, then Tangerine Tango embossing, then Basic Black and Pacific Point stamping, and then finished it off with stamping a cross-hatch pattern in Tempting Turquoise, to get the linen look.
The stamp I used for the linen look is from Gorgeous Grunge, probably my all-time favorite from the current catalog. The sentiment came from the photopolymer set Another Thank You, and the flowers were from the Flower Shop and Petite Petals stamp sets. love the look of this card. I am really liking the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I have yet to make anything with it, but I will soon, just have not had the time. Thank you for sharing this wonderful card 🙂
