I've been wanting an excuse to play with my new Friends & Flowers stamp set and coordinating Festive Flower Builder Punch ever since I made my first project with it–this (Bunny Bookmark) so I jumped at the chance to make my swap cards with it for our demonstrator-only stamp night this month. I used my favorite coloring tool, the Aqua Painter!
Sometimes I color outside the lines… and don't notice it until it's cropped and blown up huge and in my face. Oh well! You guys know me and are not under the impression that I'm perfect, right? Hope I didn't burst anyone's bubble there! : )
The coordinating punch made it go super fast, as I stamped and painted all the images on Watercolor Paper, let them dry, and punched them out. I'd already laid down a wash of blue for the background and hand-doodled the "vine" and let those dry as well (you saw that step if you are a Song of My Heart on Instagram follower!) Dimensionals popped the leaves and the little baby up from the background and added texture. SUPER-DE-DUPER cute!
If you want to make your own Sweet Pea card, here's what you'll need to gather! Don't have something? Well, my friend, you are IN LUCK–I sell this stuff! No kidding! So click on any item to go to my online stamp store and put together a fun little shopping basket for yourself.
I can't wait to try out the flowers with this set! They'll be perfect for the upcoming wedding and anniversary season, and I'll get even more good out of the Festive Flower Builder Punch (aka the "poinsettia punch") that I bought last holiday season. SCORE!
Oh, my gosh, Lyssa…this one DID make me squeal. I l visit your blog every day and love all your creations, even if I don’t comment regularly. But I had to say something about this one. I’ve seen lots of cute cards using that stamp set, but this is BY FAR the cutest and most creative using the baby image. I have a friend who’s due next month, so this post came just at the right time. Hope you don’t mind me “borrowing” your idea. Thank you!!
Really cute card! Thanks for sharing with us.
Coloring outside the lines just proves it is hand made.
Or in our neck of the woods…. “Farm Charm”!
Adorbs!
So adorable! 🥰
