Playing with scraps and came up with this super cute and easy punch trick you can do with any size circle punch (I used the 2.5-inch circle punch and the Subtles Collection patterned paper stack for this one).
All you do is adhere four square scraps of patterned paper down onto white cardstock in a grid pattern. Try to get equal margins on all sides. Then center a circle punch over the junction where they all intersect, and punch! sooo easy!
The 2.5-inch circle punch has the added benefit of fitting perfectly on a Tea Lace Doily, which really ups the WOW factor on this card. But you can do this technique with smaller circles as well, like this card with the new 1.5-inch circle punch, matted on the 2-inch circle punch.
Isn't that sweet? Just a quick and easy real-life papercrafting trick. I love little things like that–not complicated, just cute. Not a lot of highly-specialized tools needs. Just good design, crisp lines, and pretty colors. Thank you for stopping by Song of My Heart today!
