31 Pages in 31 Days: sweet hearts

Welcome to Day Sixteen of our blog series on scrapping! If you’re just joining us, August is my month to do what I call immersion scrapbooking, and I post a layout every day for inspiration if you want to join the challenge!

Today’s pages are super sweet! And this post will be short and sweet, because I just got bifocals yesterday and they are driving me nuts! I know I’ll get used to them, and retrain my head movement, but the “underwater” feeling is quite unsettling. A little freaked out that I’ll fall, since I already don’t exactly have a great record of staying upright these days : )

  • Colors: Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Bubble Bath, Basic White
  • Papers: Delightfully Eclectic 12×12, Copper Foil Sheets
  • Stamps & Ink: Wonderful Thoughts, Pretty Peacock

Ahh, the joys of getting older. Thankfully I can still craft since it’s close up work, right! And I don’t need an excuse to nap in the middle of the day to rest my eyes : )

My original plan for these pages was engagement photos, but I realized it would work just great as baby pages, too. The right hand spread has plenty of room for that sweet tiny hospital bracelet or the card from the nursery bassinet! Can’t you just see four little closeups of newborn hands and feet on the left photo grouping?

Oh dear, now I want a grandbaby… I really AM getting old! Ha ha ha!!

See you tomorrow for Day 17! Thanks for stopping in.
