We had to wait around port in Antigua for some people who were late getting back on board, but no one minded because we had this stunning sunset to keep us occupied. My little old-school digital camera did pretty well, didn't it? Check out these flowers…
These are called chenille plants and the flowers look just like a fat pipe cleaner. Totally wild. God has quite the imagination!
This was a cool cactus (totally surprised by the amount of cactus on the islands. Who knew?) that grows one "bump" for every year it is old. Bizarre! Didn't get the name of the plant in the photo below (if you know what it is, please leave a comment!), but my kids dubbed it the "Dr. Seuss plant."
The Dr. Seuss plant is red ginger.
