I've been having fun this month getting ready for craft fair season. My stock of cards as getting really low, so I've set a goal to stamp 20 cards a day. Last night I got out the fan favorite Lift Me Up and made a bunch of hot air balloon cards. I pulled some embossing-paste backgrounds from my stash (I make a ton at once, let them all dry, and use them whenever needed) and enjoyed coming up with a monochromatic birthday card that is full of texture.
It's too bad the glimmer never shows up in photos… I dusted the clouds with Wink of Stella and they look so cute!
Then I made a bunch of encouragement cards. I just love the sayings in this set, especially the "sending smiles across the miles" one.
Fun! Do you sell your cards at local fundraiser fairs, or donate them to charity auctions? They always go so well at those things. And nothing beats the glow of satisfaction in knowing your handiwork went for a great cause.
Great cards.
