Some of you have been waiting patiently for a little scrapbooking inspiration. I finally got around to photographing these spreads from last month when I was photographing the spreads from THIS month! If you're interested in a monthly scrapbooking class, you would love this one–we typically meet on the second Thursday night of each month, and I have everything designed and pre-cut and we just stamp, assemble, snaack and chat the evening away. It is the PERFECT WAY to make sure you get some scrapping done every month! Let me know if you want to come and visit us one month, free of obligation, and see if it is for you.
This was our single page for August, using papers from the Just Add Cake collection and the Perfect Words hostess exclusive stamp set. Here's a closeup of the saying–love it!
This next layout didn't photograph too well, but I hope you can get the idea. It is Basic Gracy, Sahara Sand and Riding Hood Red. I used that favorite scrapbooking set of mine, Daring Adventure. A cool thing we did on this spread was to use the metal spinner from the Game Spinner Hands (goes with the Take A Spin stamp set on page 58) as an embellishments, tied into our twine. Goes perfectly with this page! and it's a nice flat embellishment for cards, too, if you're mailing them.
Well, after those two more masculine projects, we wanted to do somthing a bit more feminine. You know me and any shade of turquoise–this spread uses Baja Breeze with the new Island Indigo In Color. We used the Blessings from Heaven stamp set, which coordinates really well with the Friendly Words jumbo Stampin' Around wheel.
We also learned how to make the ribbon roses in the center of our scrunchy Fancy Flower punches. They look so pretty! I'd love to teach you and your friends how to make them at your next workshop. Have you scheduled a fall party yet? Get out your calendar and call me!
