I finally broke down and allowed Sale-A-Bration to be my excuse to get this new die I've been admiring all over the internet! And it lived up to it's promise of being both really cool AND quick and easy. I had no trouble at all getting it out of the die, even without my usual wax paper useage.
And I love how the cards turned out–really cute, but also super fast. I send more than a hundred birthday cards a year, so quick cuteness is pretty important to me. This die was so fast I also used it for my team meeting sample swap, too. I hope everyone liked it!
The fun gold-embossed foil specialty paper I used (from Painted with Love, Spring 2018 mini catalog page 19) to do the die-cuts made for really cool random splashes of gold. I was particularly taken with the way this one turned out almost perfectly half Fresh Fig and half gold, so I used a diagonal layout that would play up that uniqueness.
Ready to recreate this card at home? Here's what you'll need to order:
All in all a very profitable evening's work! What have you been working on lately? Are you up to stock with your birthday cards, or do you need to sit down and take an evening to build your supply back up?
Wish we could stamp together for an hour! Wouldn't that be fun?
Love the two tone happy birthday. I’ve been going to order that die but just waiting for a good reason. I guess now is the time!
J’aime beaucoup ces cartes. Merci et bonne journée Bizz
