This patterned paper in the Geared-Up Garage suite is just perfect to celebrate the new driver in your family! All you need is a 5.25 x 2.5 inch strip of the key pattern, and 5.25 x 1 inch of one of the plainer patterns.
TOP TIP: I "etched" my die-cut instead of cutting it, by running through two layers of cardstock at once. The die doesn't quite cut all the way through the second layer, so you get this cool etched look, and you can use the top layer on another card.

While I had everything out, I made this handyman card to have on hand to thank the guys siding our house next week. I am SOOOO excited about that… I have always wanted a gray house with white trim and a red front door, and I'm finally getting it! It will be so nice not to have to paint this 100-year old house ever again, too! Painted houses don't do so well here in Wisconsin with the temperature fluctuations.
I'll be sure to share before and after pictures! Especially since one of the new doors will be in my craft room. : )
