Happy Monday! I actually love Mondays because they are all either clubs or my downline meetings! Here's a few fun scrapbook pages from events lately–Scrap A Stack Club pages for March, and a vintage single page we did at my friend Jenny M's workshop last week.I just can't get enough of that Newsprint DSP. Coupled with the Broadsheet Alpha–YUM!
I really enjoyed making this spread from the Ice Cream Parlor Sale A Bration Rewards stuff–papers, ribbons, buttons and self-adhesive accents–not only because it is FUN to work with FREE items, but also because the colors are so awesome and cheerful. Winter is dragging it's heels here in Southern WI. Talk about a pick-me-up–try Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Pacific Point together–it really wakes up your eyes!
And I like the movement on the page–the photo mats start on the left and curve up and over and then down to the right. There's plenty of space for journalling, thanks to the Spiral punch making those cute pieces of torn "notebook" paper. Just a fun, cheery spread to celebrate one of life's moments and milestones.
Do you like to scrapbook, or wish you could get started? It's really very easy. Book a spring workshop with me and we can focus on scrapping if you'd like, make cards, or even work on a 3-D gift project. I cater to my hostesses' wishes! Be the first to contact me to book after this post goes live, and if you mention this post, I will gift you the vintage page above, totally free!
It's also winding down the Stampin' Up year and your chances of being invited to my 2010-11 Hostess Appreciation Event! Make sure you don't miss out on that exclusive evening where I spoil my hostesses rotten with desserts, freebies and games with fabulous prizes. I have TWO workshop spaces left for April (7th or 8th) and ONE spot open for May (10th) and that is IT! I'm working away towards that Disney trip–less than $8,000 to go now (WHOO HOO!!), so I have tightly packed my calendar. Make sure you don't leave it too late and miss out on your invitation!
Lyssa,
I love those first two pages; I’ve been debating about the Broadsheet alphabet and I think you just convinced me that I need it in my collection. 🙂
