I've said it before and I'll say it again–I just love it when 10-10-10 time comes around, because I have such fun just sitting there designing away, guilt-free! I have to come up with ten different cards for this bi-annual event, and my only real criteria is the time frame. I try to use all the latest stamps and new tools, and come up with ten pleasing color combos (not hard at all now with the new Color Coach!). The last two or three cards are always the hardest, because I try not to use any overlapping tools and accessories. So those last couple can be a real challenge of my design abilities! I know, I'm a dork! This is what die-hard stampers do for fun!
I love this card and I really like the technique we will be doing on it. The distressy block on color behind the stem image is done with the "H" clear block and the River Rock ink pad, believe it or not! Stamping with the clear block itself–who knew?
To RSVP for the 10-10-10 (space limited to 30 ladies) on March 19th, just shoot me an email or sign up on my Facebook page: Facebook: Song of My Heart Stampers
If you can't make that, watch for a post about my upcoming "Life's BIG Occasions" 4×4-style stamp camp on April 15th!
