more inspiration from the demo meeting

The highlight of the June 2012 demo meeting for me, anyway, was Kristin Chowanec's amazing My Digital Studio presentation. She did an excellent job of explaining the basics of MDS while creating an adorable page. I consider myself fairly advanced in MDS, and I learned two separate tricks from Kristin's presentation that I have never heard of before. A big thank you to Kristin and all the demonstrators who contribute to our monthly group meetings!

Ruth challenge
I have to show you this adorable card from Ruth Stadler, for our Gumball Green product challenge. The caterpillar continued around to the back of the card, too. And inside was this CUTE 3-D punch art "apple."

Next month's challenge is to use the vintage faceted "glass" buttons on something. I handed out free buttons to all who attended!

Carla Schultz book-001
One of our new convention roomies for our group, Carla, brought some fabulous technique books she has been working on for years. I loved this idea for spotlighting the gorgeous Large Doily sizzlet die-cut.

Make N Takes-002
We had a nice big group this month! If you are interested in learning about becoming a Stampin' Up demonstrator, you are very welcome to come to one of our get-togethers. You can sign up for just $99 and there's a special free product bundle offer in June, too! Lots of good reasons to look at Stampin' Up either just for your own pleasure, as a hobby on the side, or as a full time job, like me. I'd be thrilled to meet with you and chat about how Stampin' Up can work for you and your family! Email me and I'll spring for pie and coffee.
