What a sweet and peaceful scene! A little country church buried in the softly falling snow. Inside and on the envelope are tiny matching houses from the village. It’s the perfect little Christmas card for anyone who enjoys a little holiday village this time of year, and it’s so easy to make!
Yuletide Christmas is a new set from Stampin’ Up’s 224 Holiday mini catalog and it’s getting missed by a lot of people because it’s towards the back! Both the village stamps and the Falling Snow background stamp I used on my card are on page 56 (and the greeting I used as well). If you need a holiday mini catalog please let me know! Otherwise you can view it here in the online store;
- Yuletide Christmas 9-piece clear photopolymer stamp set
- Falling Snow rubber background stamp
- Shepherd’s Care 9-piece cling rubber stamp set
I also used Balmy Blue cardstock and ink, Basic White cardstock and envelopes, Basic Rhinestone embellishments, Stampin’ Dimensionals, and a label die from Wonderful Thoughts.
Enjoy making your own handmade Christmas cards this year to share with family and friends! And if you’re up for even more of a challenge, try this adorable little shadowbox with a balsa wood frame I got from Michael’s.
It was super easy to just measure the inside area of the frame, cut my cardstock base to match, then enjoy creating layers with little houses, glitter glue and markers. Fun! I can’t wait to try my hand at some ornaments with this winsome little village stamp set.
