Make use of your square punches with quilt-themed cards

Pinwheel Quilt Card Cheat Sheets Collection technique Stampin Up

I know these are kind of an unusual color for me (Tangelo Twist), but I was experimenting for the new Cheat Sheets April 2015 Collection and I didn't want to punch into any of my "special" paper! Do you do that, too? Hoard the "good stuff" and wind up using bits and pieces of other stuff instead of the patterns you fell in love with? I think we need to have a "Show Me Your Paper" Week on the Song of My Heart Facebook page where we all commit to cutting into the pretty stuff and USING it!

I will definitely be using this technique more–and I promise to pull our my good paper! You can play around with your squares punches this week, too, or if you prefer, enjoy further details and variations when you order Cheat Sheets Collection #6. I usually don't have a "theme" for the collections, but this month's was definitely quilt-inspired!

  1. I can so relate to the paper hoarding thing!!!And I “save” the pretty sheets for a special project that never seems to come 🙂 Love your card! It’s bright and cheery!
