Cheerful Retro-Mod Owl

DSCF5348 copy

I just love this little owl! And he's so easy to make, using the new 2-Step Owl punch from Stampin' Up. I chose Peach parfait for the card base, stamped with flowers from the set called For Everything, in Tangerine Tango ink. Tangerine Tango was just dark enough on the Peach Parfait color to really stand out like I wanted it to.

Then I layered on some Pear Pizazz cardstock and attached Henry (well, I had to name him, or he'd be jealous of Phil the Pheasant) made out of Soft Suede, More Mustard and Concord Crush hostess DSP. I got the little branch from another absolutely fantastic punch, 2-Step Bird.

Then I just added the sentiment (also from For Everything) stamped in Concord Crush, and it was done! Except I did add some Crystal Effects to Henry's eyes, which you probably can't see in the photo.

If you're as nuts as I am about this little guy, head on over to my shopping website and add him to your cart. And don't forget to pick up For Everything, which is super cute and extremely versatile. You can get it in wood or clear mount, too. And you'd better get another bottle of Crystal Effects, just in case! I wouldn't ever want to run out of that!
