Hello again, everybody! Thanks for joining me for Day Thirteen of 31 Pages in 31 Days, my annual scrapbooking blog series! Every year I take the entire month of August to do what I call immersion scrapping. Basically I make a layout (at least one) every day and leave all the mess out for the whole month without putting it away. I just don't seem to be able to fit scrapbooking into my life any other way!
We're not quite halfway through–you can still join us for the challenge! You might not get 31 pages done, but you'll be further along in your books than you were when you started.
Today's inspiration layout is a page for your family reunion, with spots of pictures of all the different men in your life, plus spaces for group photos. Real-life papercrafters need pages with lots of photo space, and this spread accomplishes that task without making it feel crowded.
The Family Party stamp set is a MUST-HAVE for scrapbookers and cardmakers alike–any relationship and any age or year can be stamped with this versatile 36-piece set. The ink I used is Night of Navy, to match the background and patterned cardstock, accented by Whisper White and Seaside Spray light blue.
Any day you have a chance to use a Moose punch is a good day, in my book! I used the Pine Tree and Moose punches to add a little forest flair to my page. I think it's a nice nod to the location of the reunion without having to have any specialty papers for the theme.
There we go! Day Thirteen is in the books. Before you turn off the computer and head for the craft room, I hope you'll take a second to look at the registration info for my online Scrapbooking Summer School. Imagine getting a kit to make this page plus many others in a big box just full of individual packets for YOU to make at your leisure. At just $62, this two-week class is crazy cheap and sooo much fun. Join us!
