I've been playing with the latest set of Cheat Sheets (Collection #16) and I couldn't wait to try the Layered Slash layout with the gorgeous copper-foil embossed specialty papers in the Petals & Paisleys Designer Series pack. WOW–was this ever worth the effort!
The picture doesn't do justice to the way this one shines. I fussy-cut a couple of elements out of the sheet to make my embellishments, and added the matching Copper Thread to soften the rigid lines and pull everything together. What an amazing look! This would be a stunning wedding or anniversary card, or even a really beautiful sympathy card.
If you haven't tried Cheat Sheets yet, you're in for a treat… and do yourself a favor and check out the Paisleys & Posies suite in the 2016 Holiday Catalog on pages 46-47. You'll be glad you did!
