Today's inspiration page is a single page designed to be the inside cover page of a baby boy album. The color scheme comes from the nursery itself. I love making 12×12 pages that can be framed as wall decor and then put into albums later. What a fun gift to new parents!
This layout is so easy! The two tall strips on the left are 1.75 by 11, and 3.5 x 11 inches. The photo mat is 5.5×8.5 inches, and the patterned paper is 5.5 x 2.5 inches (card base size). You can easily copy those for a second page, or place strips interchangeably with the photo mat portion. I love layouts that use up strips of any size! Helps me feel super thrifty when I can just pull from the scrap bin instead of having to cut into new sheets.
LOVE having Stampin' Blends in the same colors to match my cardstocks. Seaside Spray is the blue I used and I love the subtle shading on the headline letters. Instead of looking flat, it has the depth of watercoloring. It's the little things, right?
That's it from me today! Tonight we are having our first stamp club here in town since the quarantine began. I haven't seen my stampy friends since March!!! I am so looking forward to spending some socially-distanced time with them. We have all kinds of precautions in place, new spaced out seating, plexiglass shields, masks, hand sanitizer, no snacks, gloves, duplicate basic supplies, etc… I tell ya these ladies are troopers! They want to stamp no matter what hoops we have to jump through. I wouldn't be surprised if we wind up online-only again, but for tonight it will be so good so just see them and catch up on all their news.
