Hello friends! I hope you enjoy the pages that I have created for your inspiration during our month-long blog series, 31 Pages in 31 Days! Day Nine's pages are a real doozie. I was in the mood to putz this weekend, and putz I did on this page.
Isn't it purty? I love how it turned out. Pink and brown, or pink and black, is the new In Love With Color color combo challenge in my weekly newsletter (sign up here–it's free!) I can't wait to see what everyone has done with it! I used Blushing Bride, Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White and Early Espresso for my pages.
Yes, I punched all those gazillion flowers out and added them around the frame by hand. It really didn't take that long, and I was so proud of myself for using up for many scraps! I outlined my frame piece with Tear N Tape adhesive, so all I had to do was stick the flowers down, slightly overlapping so no white showed between them, and then "fluff" them with my fingernails. I did a little rough sponging to grunge everything up a little, and added a whole ton of self-adhesive pearls. I used mostly the super-teeny-tiny ones, but interspersed them with the two larger sizes for more impact.
Even the ribbon and lace bits were scraps, leftover from the projects I made for the last Stampin' Up convention. I felt so thrifty when I finished this spread! And it was the perfect home for the last couple of ribbon roses from my old Artisan Embellishments Kit. I love it when a plan comes together!
