31 Pages in 31 Days: meadow memories

Hot off the presses, here’s today’s inspiration layout for 31 Pages in 31 Days! It’s my favorite from Scrapbooking SUmmer School this year. I can’t wait to make it with the ladies today! I have to say it’s really cool to see my designs come to life with their pictures and journaling. And I REALLY love how rightfully proud they are at the big stack of pages they are accomplishing this month!

The colors for this spread are Wild Wheat, Lost Lagoon, Soft Saffron, Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss. In the patterned paper with the thistles (Thoughtful Journey 6×6 stack) there is also some Fresh Freesia and Pool Party. I used a Blending Brush to add a little more teal and yellow to make the match even more perfect!

One of Stampin’ Up’s most famous plusses has always been their color coordination. I thought this page showed that after 35 years of business they are still committed to making products that match perfectly. I think a major secret to my swift scrapbooking is that I almost always use only SU. Everything matches and I don’t even have to think about it.

If you’ve been having trouble getting your finished pages to look cohesive or finding colors to match those patterns, color coordination might be the issue. I suggest joining Stampin’ Up so you get a discount on everything you buy and you can start building your collection fresh, or replacing the outdated, unmatching products that aren’t working for you. Life is too short to spend it looking for something to go with stuff!

Read about joining my Stampin’ Up team for just $99! I consider it the best life choice I ever made besides marrying my hubby : )

See you tomorrow for Day 13 of 31 Pages in 31 Days! Is your stack of pages growing?
