31 Pages in 31 Days: fall leaves

Hi guys! Quick post today as I have a big live Stampin’ Up demonstrator meeting tonight in my business group! I love doing them but it can be a little nerve-wracking sometimes. I’m probably over-prepared, but you know how it goes!

But I had to pop in and share today’s inspiration page with you! It’s another fall-themed page (my favorite!) and this time the color scheme is Pecan Pie, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, and Basic Beige. Did I mention I love Basic Beige now? It is the neutral I didn’t know I needed!)

This is a fun layout to show off your coordinating 6×6 paper stacks. This one is from a brand new online exclusive paper from Stampin’ Up, called Iconic Celebrations. It has at least one pattern for every holiday from fall Thanksgiving through Valentine’s Day! And on the backs are more neutral prints to coordinate. So it was super easy to pull this page together by cutting three 6×6 sheets into 3 strips of 2 x 6 inches each.

Let me tell you I should NOT have chosen to feature this page in Scrapbooking Summer School though! All those punched circles and leaves… I nearly broke me and Penni! And my daughter helped, too. It was a LOT! But nevertheless, they got done and packed and now my class attendees can put their page kits together happily with ne’er a thought for our poor hands!

Think I’ll learn my lesson for next year? ha ha! Fat chance! We scrapbookers SUFFER for our art, I tell you! Nothing matters but the perfect page! I’ll see you back here tomorrow for my favorite out of all the pages I’ve done this year so far.
