Welcome to Day Eighteen of 31 Pages in 31 Days! The inspiration pages I have for you today are from this week's Scrapbooking Summer School–can't wait! I got fancy with last month's "Like You A Latte" Paper Pumpkin kit and used that as a starting-off point for a fun "Air-Mail" themed celebratory page in colors that would work for either gender.
The base cardstock is Tangelo Twist, and the accenting colors are Smoky Slate, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Basic Gray and Whisper White. The Tangelo Twist is such a "hot" color that I chose all "cool" colors to pair with it. if you are out of Coastal Cabana, which is a retired color, Pool Party would be a great substitute.
We will be using Retro Fresh and Epic Day washi tapes to make these fun strips for our pages. I have won over a whole bunch of new converts to washi tape during this Scrapbooking Summer School!
The sentiment stamps came from a great set called Bravo. I used Basic Gray ink so they really stand out. And look–the little star punch from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack fits perfectly on the Banner punch! I also used that star motif on the circular element in the last photo.
The torn notebook-paper piece is from the Paper Pumpkin kit, as is the air-mail themed envelope, which we're using as a photo mat, and the fun little silver paperclips with Tangelo Twist ribbons.
Last but not least, I grunged it up with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in tone-on-tone Tangelo ink, adding spatters and drips to break up the solid expanse of orange.

I had to stop scrapping and design Christmas cards for my classes and clubs this month and it was kind of surreal after so much time with a nice big 12×12 canvas to work with! Just wanted to let you know one of the greatest lessons in this class has been using 8,5 x 11 card stock with a 2.5 piece to make the one inch border on a page do you know how many times I just cut off the one inch border from a 12 x 12 piece of card stock! What a waste. Now every time I look at your pages I get a aha moment, she did it again. Thanks for the lesson
