I'm excited to meet with the Scrapbooking Summer school ladies tonight and get our creative juices flowing with this simple rainbow page.We're using the Fabulous Phrases set, so they'll be able to make their page say anything they want, but I thought birthday was appropriate for the Brights color scheme.
Pretty simple layout, but there's a fun frame fold on this page that is easy and quick to do. For the interior frame, start with a 4×4 square and fold all four corners in towards the middle. Then fold the corners back on themselves. For the bottom frame, start with a 6×6 square and do the same two steps, but then fold the protruding corners around to the back of the frame and secure with a bit of SNAIL adhesive.
This fold makes a cute frame full of texture and interest that is sure to draw the eye to your focal point photo. After all–the photos ARE the point, right? And in good design, your best photo should be give the treatment that draws the eye there first.
