We are doing GREAT! And having FUN. Today's inspiration page for you is fun, too! All Boy All The Time is the theme, but the colors could work for All Girl All The Time, too, or All Fun All The Time. Those participating in my Scrapbooking Summer School class tomorrow night will get to choose their own headline.
The color scheme for this two-page spread is Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Sahara Sand and Whisper White, inspired by patterns from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper stack. The 4.5×6.5 inch stack is perfect for scrappers. They won't even have to cut their photos (unless they want to). Talk about easy! We arranged four separate pieces in a pinwheel at the center of each page, leaving an irregular but symmetrical border of purple around the edges. The patterns look a bit busy, but once the photos are in place, they'll be just right.
I often use the "negative" left after punching out pieces as a page element. This strip of star punches looks like a long tag when some ribbon is added to the end. It's important to add a little bit of textile to every page you make. That little nod to the tactile seeker in all of us grounds the project. Whenever I feel like a page is missing something, it always feels "better" after adding a little bit of ribbon, burlap, lace, or canvas.
I love love love the Epic Alphabet… the combo of school-style lettering and hand-drawn doodles just gets me every time for kids' pages. 
I also added texture to my flat, boring star punches with sequins stabbed through with silver mini brads. Another great use for sequins beside just a random scatter on the page… who knew?
