31 Pages in 31 Days: scenic route

Welcome back to Day 25 of 31 Pages in 31 Days, my annual scrapbooking challenge! If you’re just joining us, you’re going to be so happy you found Embellish! Be sure to click on the Scrapbooking with 31 Pages in 31 Days category on the blog menu to see earlier posts from this year–plus hundreds of spreads from past years’ challenge. We’re in our twelfth year! WOW.

Usually I’m a “let’s just get there” kind of driver, but sometimes I like to take the scenic route! Especially in the fall in Wisconsin, with all of our country roads. It looks like a calendar around here with a new scene around every bend. So this is a page to celebrate how fun it is to stop and take the pictures and just appreciate how blessed we are to have the natural world around us.

My main color is Wild Wheat (what did I use before that color came out??), with Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze chiming in on a Basic Beige denim print background paper from Stampin’ Up’s Country Woods pack. The leaves came from the new Changing Leaves Online Exclusive bundle and the alphabet dies are from Alphabet ala Mode.

I hope I’ve inspired you to take some photos on your next scenic drive–or even just that cute little house or the gorgeous flowering tree you smile at every time you pass on your way to work. These are the little things that make up our lives, and they’re worth celebration and preserving in our albums, too.

See you tomorrow for Day 26!
