2012 Scrap A Stack news

I'm a wee bit behind in posting some scrapbook inspiration for all you scrappers out there! I already have March's pages ready and I haven't even shared February's projects. Sit tight, card-makers, while I show off these cute layouts from the last Scrap A Stack Club.

We made this single page using the Beau Chateau Designer Series Papers and Side Notes. Here's a closeup of the stack of cards tied together with ribbon.

See the antique weathering? That was done with the Tea Stain ink spot from the Distressing Essentials Kit. I bought that, oh, let's see, maybe seven months ago? And am just now getting around the playing with it. Well, I love it!! And now I'm mad I wasted all that time.

This project is from my Pink Period, as you can see…. LOL! It was a fun two-page cupcake design that made good use of the Big Shot. We cut the letters from chipboard, and the top of the cupcake is half of the Scallop Circle #2 die. I do think the brown (Soft Suede) and the touches of Wild Wasabi help cut the sweetness a little, though!

More Big Shot goodness here on this two-page Valentine-themed layout. We used pretty much everything I own that cuts hearts! And everyone got to try (most for the first time) the new Hearts Collection Framelits. Add in some Real Red satin ribbon, some Bitty Buttons, and some Red Glimmer Paper, and we had a confection to rival any box of chocolates!

Both the two-page spreads last month used a similar layout–blocks of smaller photos placed very symetrically, with a larger, focal point photo at one end. It's  great layout for when you have multiple pictures to scrap but want one to really stand out.

Well, I promised you news… here it is. Scrap A Stack Club is changing back to Scrap A Stack class. There will no longer be a required comittment to come every month. All things go in cycles, and I've just found a recent dearth of busy modern women who can commit to something even just one night a month lately. Everyone's schedules are SO nuts!

I hope you will re-consider joining our group on a per-class basis, if you haven't been able to do the club previously. Our next two classes are scheduled for March 15th and April 26th. Email me for details and to RSVP today!

I Love Stampin' Up!
