Fell in love with this little Ride with Me truck stamp set & dies bundle from the new catalog–so cute! It will be perfect for guys and kids cards especially. I broke it out for the first time this week and had a grand old time making cards.And look at the fun new metallic Designer Elements embellishments that work perfectly for wheels!! Not sure if that was Stampin' Up's intention, but it sure did work out nicely!
I enjoyed going through my stamps and looking for other things to put in the back of the truck! There were lots of possibilities, although not all to the right scale. I added the little doggie from You Always Deliver chasing my car and barking at the balloons.
Next I filled the back of my truck with boxes (also from You Always Deliver). This would make an adorable moving announcement or moving away farewell.
I always enjoy a cool border treatment, so I have to point out this fun triangle trim. That's just one small square scrap of patterned paper, cut in half from corner to corner, and then each of those cut in half again. What a great use of scraps!
I know it's too soon for these next two cards, but while I had everything out I decided to make a quick one to show you the autumn and winter options this stamp set contains.
Isn't that fun? I like it when a set is useful year-round. And now I have one of my Christmas cards done already for the year : )
