Woodsy Christmas Card

DSCF2449 copy

We made 120 of this cute bird and holly branch card at my Christmas Clubs this month! Whew!! And guess what? I tied ALL the taffeta bows!! Yes, my stampers are just that spoiled!!
This would be an easy card to replicate at home. The base is just Chocolate Chip cardstock run through the Big Shot with the new Woodgrain embossing folder from the 2012 Holiday Catalog, and sponged to bring out the grain along the edges.

Then you just stamp the bird image from Beautiful Season in Chocolate Chip ink on Very Vanilla and cut out with the Framelits, and sponged. Cut a mat from Riding Hood Red with the corresponding Framelit and use the awesome new piercing templates to paper-pierce around it (no need for free-hand anymore!)

That's it! Quick, cute, and easy to mass produce. How many Christmas cards do you make each year? I make several hundred, not to mention the ones I make to sell at craft fairs and for special orders. Give me a holler if you are interested in coming to the remaining two sessions of Christmas Club and getting some of that holiday to-do list whittled down early this year!
