Well, the meeting for tonight has been cancelled due to the blizzard, but I know we'll get to make them eventually, so here's some photos to whet your appetite, if you belong to this Watertown area social club! If you are interested in the group, or the all-day charity crop event this Saturday, you can find them on Facebook here.
I cut 70 chipboard circles with my new 3.5 inch circle die on the Big Shot–love how easily the BS cuts through chipboard, it's just like buttah!–and then cut 140 circles from Designer Series Papers (Sending Love and First Edition) and 70 pages from Very Vanilla cardstock. And then I punched several hundred hearts out of the scraps left from the circles. And yes, my shoulder and hand hurt like the dickens by the end!! But I hope the 35 ladies who will eventually make them will like these little love albums.
They are just right to hold five or six photos, and fit in your purse. They'd also make a wonderful grandparent brag book or a "10 Things I Love About You" kind of album. I did mine up for a sample just with some casual photos of my baby girl. Ain't she adorable?!
How cute is that?! They are going to love them!
YES! Your adorable daughter has TWO “wonderful grandmothers” who will LOVE these little albums! 🙂 XXXXMomGMA
Adorable! A perfect Valentine’s Gift for a loved one!
Such a cute project!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the reminder that you can use your Big Shot for cutting things that are thicker than card stock. Love this project.
