Wowee!! I am exhausted but we had so much fun today it was totally worth it!
Today was either my seventh or eighth annual Birthday Bash (can't recall if I started the first year I signed up or if it was the following year)and we had a total blast! We made over 330 cards all together. A few only made five, but most made more than ten and two stampin' maniacs made twenty! Everybody went home with smiles on their faces, not just from the gooey, yummy cupcakes (snickerdoodle and golden fudge) but from the super-fun couple of hours we spent having a ball stampin' together with friends old and new.
A common question for me at this event is "how long did this take you to put together?" The answer is–no clue. I love what I do, and the time just flies by when I'm designing the projects. I even love the cutting and prep part, too! I also really enjoy party-planning and decorating, so I spend a lot of time making sure my stamp camps feel like a special, delightful place to be. Once you enter the door, your worries just slide off your shoulders. I hope my stampers felt like that today! Between the fun projects and the fact that they could finally order out of the amazing new spring catalog, I think everyone left pretty happy!
And yes–I'll post the projects this week so you can all see them. Stay tuned for finalized details on the Spring Scrapbook Marathon, Sale A Bration 10-10-10 Event, and the Make A Difference Weekend Retreat! I am sooooo excited for all this upcoming fun!
THAT LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN!! I would love if you’d do a demo blog post on how you plan & prep for this event and some of they ways you’ve found your customer-friends 🙂 They all look like they were having a blast – my kind of activity – crafty and fun!!
I’m sad that I missed it. But I’m glad that you had fun!
You make me feel happy and excited just reading your post! Thanks for the great pxs.
