I'm still coming down from my convention high! Having to cook again and realizing I have to vaccum and grocery-shop today is a rude adjustment to reality… but I expect I'll live. I AM glad I'm back and able to be in the stamp room again, though! I'm prepping for the Blendabilities class next Monday–don't forget to sign up and come learn about these amazing new markers!
We had SUCH a good time at convention this year. I even won TWO door prizes! I got the coveted Endless Wishes stamp set and the new winter-themed sequins at an evening class, and then I won some new Designer Series Paper and a super cute new hostess set called Hello There on the final day. I felt pretty lucky!
This year I had the privilege of sitting on the VERY front row as one of the Advisory Board members. That was a fun experience, too. Although I wound up on the livestream camera way more than I was comfortable with! I had to giggle when it came time for the recognition marches, however–the front row was NOT a good place to be when everyone is pouring off the stage steps and right into the crowd of people waiting to photograph their friends' big moment. It was a sea of backsides, actually. We joked that they need to issue steel-toed sandals to the AB team next year!
Even though I couldn't sit with my team, I could hear them cheering like crazy for me. So sweet! We did a crazy funny thing for our friend Lori this year. She couldn't attend, so we brought a "Flat Lori" along on a little stick and took pictures of her everywhere we went. We traded off who had her every few hours so she really got around! She even had a little Awards Night dress and a hot date with Hans, the Frozen doll that I was bringing home for Natalie! We had a good giggle over that, and the Real Lori loved it. She's an internet sensation now! I hope Real Lori and ALL my team members can come to convention next year. It is simply not to be missed! 
Treated like a queen (as it should be!) for 3 days, then back to reality…bummer! 😉 I’m sure your family was very happy to have you home, and every night when you lay your head on your pillow, you can remember what it’s like to be treated like a queen!
