What fun I had with the Suite Sampler this month!! I chose Sun Prints as the featured collection for our goodie box in October 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed myself when I sat down to make some inspiration projects for you all. You will be just as inspired when you see all the pretty shades of cobalt and navy blue, and the lovely, timeless patterns of the plants and flowers in the designs.
One thing I love about nature-based designs combined with a great monochromatic palette of colors is that you can never overdo it! It just looks better the more elements and textures you add. It was so easy to pull together little groupings of ferns and flowers to attach to the pretty background papers.
All in all I made 9 cards and 6 scrapbook pages from my Suite Sampler. Not too shabby for a month that included three family members down with covid–again!
There are so many blues in this collection, you can match it with Starry Sky, Pacific Point, Night of Navy (current colors) and Misty Moonlight or Midnight Muse (retired shades). Love how that makes you feel like an artist even though I'm anything but! I also found the papers went with metallics you could ask for–copper, gold, silver, pewter–they all matched the feel.
