I've been having the best time getting ready for the January 1st, 2011 Birthday Bash (details here)! I got the new set called Bring on the Cake from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog (pages 20-21)and it has such a great variety of birthday-related images, I have used it on SEVEN of the fourteen cards I've designed for this event. WOW!
This card was made with the vintage-looking stamps from the set (I neglected to take a photo of the inside of this card, but there's a type-writer-style font on the sentiment inside that goes perfectly with the antique feel of this card.) And lots of my favorite DSP, Newsprint! I stamped it with Craft ink and left the smudges to resemble an inky printer's shop. Vintage cards are so messy and fun to make!
