Vintage Dove Christmas Card

Sharing another one of our Christmas Club projects from August with you today to break up all those doily posts! This Gifts of Christmas card is made with Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, and Very Vanilla, with a little Crumb Cake sponging and Color Spritzer Tool-ing to antique it. It's a very economical card to mass produce, too, because it only uses three pieces of cardstock (base, focal point and punched lace) and a small amount of our inexpensive narrow grosgrain ribbon, plus one brad.

TIP: Everyone really enjoyed using the Moonlight Smooch Accent Ink on the dove to add a pearly sheen. Amazing how a tiny $4.95 bottle of paint can transform a card completely!

I try to do a big variety throughout the four months of Christmas Club, so there is something for every taste. You can see the first "classic" of the three cards here, and here is the other one, the "modern" one. I gave everyone a tempting sneak peek of three products from the new Holiday Mini Catalog! Ordering begins September 1st for this Glimmer Paper, Snow Burst embossing folder, and Dazzlin' Details iridescent glittered glue.

Twenty-three ladies are getting a jump on the season and will have all their cards done and ready to mail by mid-November. How about you? I offer several different options for people who want to make sure that THIS YEAR they get their handmade cards done, and not all in one hectic rush on December 23rd! Email me for details on Christmas Club, private Christmas card workshops, or my November 12th, 2011, Stamp A Stack event, where you can make anywhere from 10-100 Christmas cards in one day. There's a Christmas event that will work for everyone's schedules!
