There is not much I like better in the papercrafting world than a really good, knock-your-socks-off vintage project. I was delighted to be given free rein when it came to the stamping side of my presentation at the latest Inspire. Create. Share. Convention in Salt Lake City last week, and it's no wonder my thoughts quickly turned to the gorgeous new Timeless Elegance papers and a fun vintage suite of projects. 
As those of you who follow me on SOMH Facebook know, I was VERY nervous to be on stage five times in front of thousands of demonstrators, and I am happy to say it went really well! The only true burble I made was accidentally telling the audience to cut a sponge dauber in half. I'd like to see you TRY! I meant to cut the metallic doilies in half. But they were kind and we all laughed and we moved on.
I will be making a couple of videos about the twelve projects I showed, very soon, but here's some fun closeups of two of my favorites. The baby shower cake topper banner was just so fun to make. it's about ten inches across, with bamboo cake skewers hot-glued to the end pennants so it can stand up above the cake's top layer. Banners are just awesome for using up leftover scraps of ribbon and embellishments.
This "Pile o' Presents" was actually my finale. The business side of my presentation was to help demonstrator learn to upsell–guiding customer friends to add small extras or helpful tools onto their orders, so that they'll truly have everything they need to successfully finish off their projects when they are making them at home. So this last project just showcased all kinds of fun, inexpensive embellishments that don't cost much but really add a lot of pizzazz.

I haven't made a video lately because my whole family is home for the summer and it's NOISY here, but you know what, I'm so excited to share that I'm just gonna film it anyway. I don't want to wait ANY more to show you the top-secret things I've been working on this summer!

LOVE your projects! I also LOVE that you stepped out of your comfort zone to present on the Big Stage, even though you were very nervous. My kids often give the excuse for not doing something novel, “I’m nervous” or “I might fail.” My husband and I are constantly gently pushing them to try it anyways! When I was a demo the first time around, my reason for signing up was to get rid of my fear of public speaking. It worked.
Your projects are just breath-taking and the color combination is so pretty.
