I think this is one of the prettiest things I've made lately!! The Texture Chic paper scraps I used for these diagonal cards glimmers with gold foil patterns and it just really elevates the layout to something special. What scrap strips do you have laying around that you could turn into a stunning background?
The beauty of this technique is that you can dress the card up or down. Add lots of extra texture and details, or keep it simple and let the background shine. But whatever you do, snag a pack of these Brass Butterflies if your paper has gold in it–they really bring it out!
I made a quick video of this last card on Facebook! You can watch it here, and check out the rest of the patterns in the Texture Chic pack.
Isn't it so easy? Not hard at all, and such a stunner. I love using up scraps like that. it just thrills my thrifty little heart.
Ready to shop? All of the products I used are available from Stampin' Up in my online store. Here's the links so you can check them out! Thanks for shopping with me and supporting Song of My Heart's free video tutorials like these.
