I reeeeeally like this card! I think it might be one of my most favoritest things I've ever made. I just love big color and bold graphic design and this card has both. It's also monochromatic, which you all know makes me happy!! And it's RED. It matches my adored red couch. I looooooove it!
But the best part is, it was soooo ridiculously simple. I stamped all three trees from the Evergeen stamp set on Cherry Cobbler paper with Versamark ink, and heat-embossed them in Sterling Silver. Then I cut them out in acute triangles (that's geek-speak for really tall and skinny triangles) so they were all the same size, and lined them up in a row on a card base of Cherry Cobbler. Embossed the sentiment along the bottom edge, and I was done!
I think this might be one of my personal Christmas cards this year. I usually wind up doing whatever's left over from my Christmas events, but I HAVE to make some more of these! I think I'll make an acute triangle template from some chipboard to help in mass production. And of course, I'll use my handy-dandy Embossing Board tip to make it go event faster!
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
