Time for Tags baby shower fun

One of my favorite ways to serve at our church is by throwing parties! Our congregation is quite large, so we have a three-person event coordination team and two of my assigned areas are wedding showers and baby showers. I love coming up with ways to make each one different and special!

Viola Rae's baby shower decor started with these cute paper napkins and her nursery decor of purples and turquoise. I pulled in the raspberry and yellow as accents and went to town!

I love making banners, but this was my first time using them for centerpieces. I was very happy with the way they turned out and they were very inexpensive, made from covered paper boxes, florist foam, paper shreddies and bamboo skewers. The animal alphabet is a set of wall stickers from Dollar Tree, and since it was a book shower for baby (great idea!), they matched the theme, too.

None of my parties are complete without favors! I used little white paper bakery sacks and created a punched and layered medallion in the color scheme. The new Time for Tags hostess exclusive set was perfect for a little coloring to coordinate with the napkin colors. The cute mini binder clips came from the Clearance Rack.

After the shower, not everyone kept their favors, so I recycled the pieces into some quick and fun baby cards with stripes of washi tape in coordinating colors. Love how it almost mimics a baby blanket!

Time for tags hello baby tag punch Stampin Up label show invites congrats

Time for Tags has already proven itself to be a pretty useful set even though I just got it. I made these fun nametags for my local stamp club's June date. SO cheerful!

Can't wait for my next excuse to use Time for Tags! Thanks for stopping in to Song of My Heart to see what I've been up to in the craftroom.
