three easy layout ideas

Pulled my shoulder this weekend (owie!) and needed to maximize the small amount of time I was able to spend without the ice pack or heating pad in the stamp room. Here's three quickie layouts I came up with to number one, use up scraps, and number two, accomplish the list of cards I had to make in the least amount of time. My pain is your gain! You'll love these cute and easy designs.

The first card is a notecard I made to thank my Etsy shoppers last month (it's easy to mass-produce and color that cute little flower.) I used the new 2-inch circle punch for the larger circle, and then the 1 3/8ths and 1.75 inch nesting punches for the focal point image. My sentiment is in the Word Window punch.

The second card is a fun layout made with a strip of 1.75 inch-wide paper, punched with the 2-inch circle punch. The center piece is discarded and the two ends are adhered to your cardfront leaving the circular space blank in between. Just pop your main image in the center and you have a super-fast way to draw attention to your focal point.

The last card I managed to make is super simple, but very compelling. I let the die-cut word "happy" take center stage since anything that large is going to steal the show anyway. The Hello You thinlets (and coordinating stamp set) provide endless combinations for the perfect occasion, but also look fun all by themselves, too.

There you go! A few easy layouts are wonderful things to have up your sleeve, because they can look completely different depending on what stamps and papers you choose. I hope you've enjoyed this quick post–I'm off to the chiropractor now to get this shoulder fixed! Can't keep a good crafter down long.
