I made this picket-fence fancy fold card for something else entirely, but once again I was irresistibly drawn to This Little Piggy. I am just having too much fun to put those naughty little critters back on the shelf and move on to other sets. They are too fun to color and cut out to create all kinds of funny barnyard scenarios.
I really went overboard on this one–not only is it a punch art fancy fold card, it's also a pop-up! Using the easy "two snips" trick I share in the November Class of the Month Club (details here!), we can add even more dimension and surprise to simple cards.
I wanted my finished card to stand up unassisted, so I added a quick little fold-out easel with scrap cardstock. That way, the card stayed upright even when the fence was open to expose the other piggies in the pen.
