That is one advantage to having all our Christmas plans derailed this holiday! I am way ahead of the game prepping for January's Leadership Conference and my stamp events. I have cranked out five batches of 20 card fronts for swapping in the last three days between Christmas movies, baking and playing board games with the kids. It feels good to be on top of things in one area of life, anyway, when there is so much going on right now that I cannot control.
This Christmas is all about letting go of the version I had in my head, and letting our Christmas be what it will be. This morning I was thanking God for stopping us from driving out West and spreading our cough to our beloved ones, and also for understanding that I am not the superwoman I think I am and tha I obviously needed a season of rest and quiet. I'm so glad my Father God knows my every need, even when I am too stubborn to admit it!
I just finished this Valentine card with the new More Amore Designer Series Fabric coming on January 2nd in the new Occasions Catalog. Yes, that's fabric wrapped around a cardstock square behind the little heart focal point. As soon as I saw the cute typewriter print I knew I had to have it! I hope the other demos at the conference love this design as much as I did.
Did you see the other sneaky-peeky new item I slipped in there? I thought you might spot it! If you got your Sale A Bration 2013 flyer in the mail you saw that there is a NEW PUNCH and a coordinating stamp set to match it as two of the reward choices this year! The Petite Curly Label punch and the Pretty Petites stamp set should top your list when you are strategizing what to use your SAB rewards on. That new punch also coordinates with the new Ciao, Baby! stamp set in the Occasions Mini. Love it when there is so much bang for your buck!
And ooh, ooh! I almost forgot. I used Itty Bitty Banners on this card as well, and did you SEE that that stamp set will be a freebie option for Sale A Bration, too?! I'm so pleased with this year's choices! Be sure to shoot me a line if you did NOT receive your SAB 2013 flyer in the mail, and I'll get one right out to you. You'll want to get your annual workshop on the books, too, before all of the SAB dates are gone!
