I'm off to Neverland this week (ok, family vacation out West) but I hope you enjoy the posts I have scheduled for you! They will be liberally interspersed with family posts the next two weeks, so, BONUS—you get to see pictures of my cute kids cavorting on the mountainside in Wyoming, plus pictures from a Las Vegas getaway I have planned with just hubby while my parents keep the kids. He deserves to be spoiled with a fun trip, since he had to stay home while we went to Disney World! Poor guy.
This is the card I made for my fantastic father in law for Father's Day this year. I didn't buy this stamp set when it was in a mini catalog last year, even though I really liked it, so I was delighted to see it "make" the new catalog this year. The Open Sea is a great set with all different sizes of nautical images, and they really come together to make fantastic cards. I used the Woodgrain background stamp on this card, with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.
Look at how incredibly vibrant the Early Espresso ink is! I sure love the new ink pads. I didn't realize before how hard I had to try to get a really good solid inking, until I tried these next-generation pads and was completely wowed. Have you tried them yet? Prepare to be amazed!
This card is awesome! Now I need this set!
