There was a spring blizzard last weekend, but that didn't stop almost 1300 Stampin' Up demonstrators from gathering at our regional OnStage event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Us midwesterners still haven't taken the emergency blankets and shovels out of our cars yet anyway : )
The weather wasn't great, but we brought our own sunshine along! Check out these gorgeous samples that I swapped for.
It's like a treasure hunt, I swear. We swap so fast you don't really get to admire the individual cards, so when you get back to the hotel and go through your bag it's one ooh and ahh after another as you spot the little details and run your finger over the textures.
Then you trade sample bags with your roomies and go through each other's! Because everybody winds up with a different collection of swaps based on what part of the room and what time of day they did their trading.
I have to mention the stamp set on this last card… Coffee Cafe is retiring! Sad sad sad to see this one go. Be sure to take a last peek and see if it needs to go in your permanent collection. It's got matching framelits, so if you want it, don't wait. Dies sell out fast and since Stampin' Up doesn't make those ourselves, we can't replenish the stock before the catalog is over. I would hate to see you miss out!
Got questions about the retiring list, the new catalog, joining the fun as a demonstrator or anything else crafty? I've got answers. And if I don't know, I'll make stuff up. JUST KIDDING!! I'll look it up and we'll figure it out together. Because stamping with friends and learning together is what it's all about!
