On my Stampin' Up team Facebook group, Song of My Heart Demonstrators, we practice Random Acts of Cards every Thursday. I really enjoy hearing everyone chat about how the recipients just lit up when they were handed a card out of the blue. Sometimes it was someone they knew, other times total strangers' days were brightened by a little bit of kindness in an otherwise ho-hum week. It's a great reminder each week of the power of a simple card.
Do you FEEL powerful when you stamp? Because you are! You are a stampin' Superwoman when you follow through and send your creations out into the world to spread happiness, encourage and uplift. I would like to encourage each and every one of you to send or hand out an unexpected card this week. The Bible says if you cast your bread upon the waters, after many days it will return to you. Sometimes we do a good deed with full expectations of never being thanked or rewarded except in Heaven someday, but I've found over and over again that the warm glow I get from knowing I made a person's day better with a simple "I'm thinking of you," always leaves me feeling more blessed than blessing-giver.

I totally missed this blog post! I’m so glad you linked it. What a beautiful idea this is. And what a fun way to share our creations! I find I’m really good at making cards, but not so good at sending them out. 😀 I’ll be mulling over what I can do to inspire my downline!
