Summer Smoochin’

Today I was stuck home with no car, because my poor husband loaded up the kids for school today and then realized his tire was flat. So–no shopping for Lyssa, boo hoo–but I went in the stamp room and played with the new Summer Smooches product suite instead, whoo hoo!

Do you ever get fixated on a certain tool or product and can't quit making stuff with it? That was me and the Scallop Dotted Ribbon Border punch this week! Here's another Summer Smooches sample made with the technique where you punch once in the center of all four sides of a 3×3 inch piece of cardstock.

I also got fixated on the Blossom Party die after I got it out to use on that birthday pop-up card! I had kind of forgotten how much I liked the flowers on this die, especially the one that makes the big daisies. They seem to go perfectly with the bold colors in the Summer Smooches suite, too. Those colors are Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Real Red and Tempting Turquoise.

These fun fabric brads shown here are part of the exclusive sneak peek offer and won't be available in the next catalog, but I have a special offer for you just during April. If you order $40 worth of the Summer Smooches sneak peek products, I will throw in the fabric brads for free! Click here to see the Summer Smooches suite, including the A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E Petite Purse die for the Big Shot!

Stick around for more featured Summer Smooches projects, and yes, more with the Scallop Dotted Ribbon Border punch technique, too.

  1. OH man doesn’t that suck when you have an unexpected flat but for one I am glad you had to go through that. LOL! Hey, Lyssa are you going to convention? Are you flying or driving? I would love to drive but want some people to go with or want to hitch a ride with someone. I am in Minnesota. Hugs,Bev
